Homezone Replaces Tickets

The hassle of purchasing tickets becomes obsolete with the new KVV Homezone. Customers can define their Homezone in the app, which was developed for iOS, Android and web using the cross-platform development tool Flutter. This radius can encompass the daily commute to work or the distance between home and the city center.

The main focus of the project has been on the backend, the part of the system that is invisible to the naked eye. It manages and administers several different ticket models while taking several factors into account. A novel algorithm dynamically and quickly calculates prices and distances.

Agile, Fast, Flexible

We carried out this project within a tight schedule. Like many other of our projects, we managed this project using Scrum, an agile development method. Due to this approach we were able to react quickly to changing requirements, short term issues and added requests at any stage of the project.

The system can easily be integrated into the existing app and is able to complement ticketing tariffs.
