Nobody likes to think about disasters – but disaster control staff must be prepared: plans for any conceivable incident need to be designed and tested regularly. Drills ensure an adequate response in cases of emergency. These checks are complex: firefighters, policemen, rescue services, hospitals, THW and other organisations – hundreds of partners work hand in hand.
We have developed a system to evaluate major incidents for the institute for rescue engineering and hazard prevention (IRG) at the Technische Hochschule Köln, in which hardware and software work together – even under adverse conditions.

- A web app to configure the drill and the corresponding evaluation
- The case is server and mobile wifi hotspot in one
