BMP – myProject

Together with BMP – Baumanagement GmbH in Cologne we built the BMP myProject app, which visualises the current state of construction projects.

Representing clients, managing projects, organising building work — that is what BMP Baumanagement does for its customers. To keep everyone across the status of these complex projects, the BMP myProject app became the shared channel: it pulls together and visualises all project-relevant data, live.

Everything at a glance

Together with BMP we collected the requirements and the features they wanted, and from those built a first visual concept of the app. The focus throughout was on putting every relevant piece of project data in front of BMP's own customers, clearly and without a manual.

Once requirements and interaction concept were agreed, we started development and finished the project within a few weeks.

The features

A clear view of current project data and an interface that explains itself — that is what the app had to offer. Among other things, we focused on:

• Managing several projects at once
• Working through tasks as a to-do list
• Cost overview of the current project as a bar chart
• Project plan and milestone view
• Process assessment in freely definable radar charts
• PDF export of the current report
• A content management system of its own

What the platform takes care of

The app is built with Flutter and runs on ApptiveGrid, our own platform. Login and user management, the forms and the project data the app visualises all come from there. BMP maintains them in the browser, the app reads them out.

What was developed individually is what sets BMP apart: showing costs, schedules and status indicators across several construction projects at once. The rest was already in place — which is exactly why the route to the store was short.

A solution that fits your app project

Our reporting-app blueprint let us meet the client's requirements in a short project — and extend them with additions such as PDF export and a straightforward content management system.

That modular content management system means all project data can also be maintained and organised internally. Reporting becomes part of running the project rather than extra work alongside it.
