The Regio4All app brings consumers and producers together directly, with no middlemen. The aim is not only to save CO₂ by buying locally, but to keep the value with the farmers and small producers who created it.

Local produce, to go

Shopping deliberately, sustainably and with some appreciation for the work behind it: on those principles, Regio4All lets anyone take part in buying directly from producers, free of charge.

The idea is a community-run point of reference for every kind of local offer, making sustainable production and consumption practical rather than aspirational. Any user can add a missing place and rate an existing one, and so contribute to direct local selling.

The features

User experience and convenience drove the development. Regio4All is meant above all to be a useful reference while you are out and about. The focus was on:

• Adding new places
• Ratings and comments
• Navigating straight to a place
• Setting favourites
• Filtering by goods and produce

A short route to a working app

With Regio4All we accompanied the product from the idea through product design to market readiness. We took the client step by step through the software development process, defined the requirements together, and shaped the product design in short iterations — the way they wanted it.

Our app blueprint for map-based apps let us present the sheer number of different places sensibly without trouble. Users can also add new places themselves and share them with the Regio4All community. Within a short time, that produced a visual guide to buying locally.
